THE PREDICTION

Exeter Chiefs were competitive but ultimately out-gunned by Premiership leaders Leicester Tigers last Sunday in a 17-22 defeat at home that sees them closer to missing out on the play-offs than staying in as things stand. A successive home test against Bath is a useful fixture to have as they aim to get back to winning ways and they can improve a mediocre points difference as they go. Travelling Bath are unbeaten in three Premiership matches for the first time this season following a creditable 24-24 at home to Sale Sharks last Saturday but they are still some way off challenging their rivals Exeter at Sandy Park. Take the hosts to cover at least -12 here for a fairly cautious target given the hosts have lost two of their last three league games.
