THE PREDICTION

London Irish kickstarted their Challenge Cup campaign with a comfortable 8-34 victory over lowly Agen last weekend and will be eager to double-down on wins over French Top 14 teams when they host Pau. The visitors got the better of Worcester Warriors in round 1 by 24-20 to put a difficult spell in their domestic league behind them and they can contribute to a scoreline that should go over 40 points again here. However, London Irish should enjoy the home advantage in their new stadium, fans or no fans, and can end up victorious in what looks on paper to be an exciting match.
