THE PREDICTION

A change of scenery from their torrid Top 14 campaign did not benefit Agen in the slightest as they lost at home to the Premiership’s London Irish 8-34 in round 1 of the Challenge Cup. Their luck does not improve here as they face fellow French side Benetton just after their hosts’ best performance of the new season in a 20-44 win over Top 14 high-fliers Stade Francais last weekend. It is hard to see a good-looking Challenge Cup fixture for downtrodden Agen and Benetton will be in the mood here to cover -20 in victory.
