THE PREDICTION
This should be a fantastic match to round of the weekend in the Top 14 as Stade Francais host Toulon with just three points separating them in the table. The hosts broke a three-match winning streak with a close 20-19 loss to in-form Lyon last time out whilst Toulon bounced back from a loss to Bayonne the previous week with a similarly close encounter with Pau, winning that by just five points at home. Despite the presence of spectators here Stade Francais’ home form has been impressive over the past month. The hosts have defeated Toulouse, La Rochelle and Bordeaux in their last three fixtures at Stade Jean-Bouin and that could prove the difference when they face the Challenge Cup holders. It should be an exciting watch but the result should fall the hosts’ way as it goes over 40 points.
