Clermont Auvergne are 12 points behind Toulouse in first place of the Top 14 with a game in-hand and they are likely a little disappointed with their record so far, with a 16-16 draw away to Bordeaux another opportunity missed. One win from their last three Top 14 games is a difficult patch of form for the French giants and this home match against Castres is not the pushover fixture it once was. Visiting Castres are in excellent form so far in 2021 with three wins on the spin against Lyon, Agen and Montpellier.
