THE PREDICTION

It was mixed fortunes for these two sides last weekend in the Challenge Cup semi-finals as Castleford produced an excellent performance to knock out Warrington while Hull succumbed to a powerful St. Helens side. Prior to that win, Castleford’s form has been woeful in the league having lost their three previous matches conceding 124 in the process but they will take confidence from the cup win. Not only did Hull lose to Saints, but they have lost Josh Griffin for the season with a serious Achilles injury so they have plenty of adversity to overcome in this trip to Castleford. A close game is on the cards however and it is difficult to separate these two teams but with the home side missing a handful of players also, the marginal preference goes to the visitors to edge this one.
