Head Coach: Steve Price

Squad: Akauola, Burrell, Currie, Davis, Dean, Goodwin, Hill, Johnson, King, Livett, Mamo, Moran, Murdoch-Masila, Ratchford, Smith, Tasi, Thewlis, Walker, Westwood

Unavailable: Kevin Brown, Josh Charnley, Blake Austin, Tom Lineham, Daryl Clark, Jason Clark, Mike Cooper, Jack Hughes, Declan Patton, Joe Philbin

  • Warrington suffered a heavy defeat against Catalans as their game in the south of France spilled over thanks to several confrontations and they will now need to refocus as they host St. Helens.

  • Tom Lineham will sit out for Warrington here after he was given a Grade A charge of striking with his shoulder and received a one-match ban and is joined by a plethora of other names as Steve Price looks to protect his squad ahead of the Challenge Cup final.

  • Blake Austin was carried off last week whilst Jack Hughes played on with a ruptured testicle with both missing out here along with Daryl Clark, Jason Clark, Mike Cooper, Declan Patton and Joe Philbin but Matty Smith should make his debut after joining the club on-loan from Catalans.

Head Coach: Justin Holbrook

Squad: Amor, Ashworth, Bentley, Costello, Fages, Grace, Lees, Lomax, Makinson, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Naiqama, Paulo, Percival, Peyroux, Richardson, Smith, Taia, Thompson, Welsby

Unavailable: Lachlan Coote, Alex Walmsley, Morgan Knowles, James Roby

  • St. Helens claimed the League Leaders' Shield after their comfortable win over Wakefield coupled with Warrington's loss to Catalans with Saints now meeting the side that have been the closest to them in the table all season.

  • Saints were missing a handful of players last week but one man who should be back is Jonny Lomax who was left out for personal reasons and he has been named in the 19-man squad here.

  • James Roby drops out this week with Matty Costello replacing him in the squad whilst Regan Grace returns after he was a late withdrawal last week with Adam Swift the man to make way.

Warrington will have to pick themselves up after they handed the League Leaders' Shield to St. Helens following their loss to Catalans last week. They are far from secure in second place and another loss here would really place the pressure on them. They have named a weakened squad this week as they look to manage their personnel ahead of the Challenge Cup final and that should allow Saints to pick up yet another win.
