PREDICTION
West Ham were soundly beaten by Arsenal last weekend and their second half capitulation will undoubtedly be something of a worry for David Moyes, especially as their Premier League status for next season is not yet confirmed.

This Sunday sees them play host to a Manchester City side who are certainly showing no let up this season, even after winning the Premier League title. A statement that Swansea will only be all to willing to confirm after the heavy defeat they suffered at the Etihad last weekend.

For Pep Guardiola’s men, the only tasks left are scoring 100 league goals this season while also earning 100 points. The former looks incredibly likely as they are currently on 98, while the latter is not out of reach either.

West Ham will look to put themselves out of reach of the likes of Southampton and Stoke but after not winning any of their last three league outings, all signs point to that run being extended to four as City march on to victory, causing more stress for the Hammers.

MEMORABLE MEETING
Last season paired the two clubs together in the FA Cup third round with West Ham’s cup bubble being burst in emphatic fashion by Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s men strolled to victory as they hit five unanswered goals past the Hammers at the London Stadium.

That defeat heaped pressure on then West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and it was a win that showed just how ruthless this Manchester City side can be while also showing what a team effort it was with five different players getting on the scoresheet.
