PREDICTION
West Brom need to win their last seven Premier League fixtures to reach the supposed hallowed marker of 40 points. The only problem for Alan Pardew’s men is that they have lost that many matches in succession.

It’s never over until it’s over but even the most ardent West Brom fan will have to admit that it is looking incredibly bleak in terms of their survival hopes. If they are to stay up, then the great escape will have to start this weekend with the visit of Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

The Clarets lie in seventh and with the teams that have made the FA Cup semi-finals they have a real chance of entering the Europa League next season should they stay in their current league standing. They may not be the most free flowing team in the division but they give away very little and with a West Brom side who are struggling for goals this season, an away win looks the most likely outcome.

MEMORABLE MEETING
Burnley are yet to get the better of West Brom in the Premier League, with five previous meetings warranting three defeats and two draws. One of that trio of losses came back in September 2014 when a Saido Berahino inspired performance led the Baggies to a 4-0 win at The Hawthorns.
