PREDICTION
It is perhaps too early to know if Watford’s decision to sack Marco Silva and replace him with Javi Gracia is a shrewd one or not. Four points from nine suggests that at least the rot in the immediate term has been halted but the question remains as to whether he can revive the Hornets' fortunes and at least earn a top-half finish come the end of the season.

Another man who has been charged with reviving a club’s fortunes is Sam Allardyce; Big Sam took over the Everton job earlier in the season and after the initial lift in results, the start to 2018 has not continued in the same trajectory. That said, they have won two of their last three outings and are good value to earn at least a point come Saturday evening.

MEMORABLE MEETING
Earlier this season Watford travelled to Goodison Park to face Everton with Marco Silva at the helm for the Hornets. It looked as if the now former boss had masterminded another three points and continued the club’s impressive start to the season, especially with the club being 2-0 up. However, the Toffees had other ideas as they completed a dramatic comeback with Leighton Baines’ injury time penalty proving to be the winner. There was still time for one dramatic twist in the tale though as Watford themselves were awarded a penalty even deeper into injury time. Tom Cleverley was given the responsibility of restoring parity, one he failed to take after missing from the spot as Everton hung on for the win.
