PREDICTIONS
Southampton are struggling for form at present as they hover precariously close to the relegation zone and come Sunday they could well go into their clash with Tottenham in the bottom three. Mauricio Pellegrino is certainly under pressure right now, while his namesake Pochettino will be looking for the win that sees his club move into the top four for at least 24 hours with Liverpool not playing until Monday. Tottenham may be away from home but with the way the likes of Harry Kane and Heung min-Son are playing, they will be clear favourites to earn all three points.

MEMORABLE MEETING
Christmas 2016 gave Southampton little to cheer about as they were heavily beaten by Tottenham on home soil. Although they took an early lead thanks to Virgil van Dijk’s header, they then conceded four unanswered goals as Mauricio Pochettino’s men made light work of their opponents in the end to take maximum points back to North London.
