PREDICTION
The dust has just about settled on the fact that Manchester City got the better of Arsenal last Sunday, so you can imagine that Pep Guardiola’s men are the last side the Gunners will want to face again anytime soon. Unfortunately for them, Thursday conjures up exactly that scenario as the two teams square off, but this time in Premier League action.

Arsenal need to offer a performance to at least show that they have learned something from their League Cup final drubbing, while Manchester City will look to move one step closer to lifting not only the league title but a second trophy this season. If the most recent showing between the two is anything to go by, then all signs point to an away win and more pressure heaped on Arsene Wenger and his players.

MEMORABLE MEETING
It may have only taken place last weekend, but this is certainly a game that everyone connected with Arsenal will want to forget. Manchester City strolled to a 3-0 victory at Wembley on their way to lifting the Carabao Cup, a result that saw Pep Guardiola earn his first trophy in English football while his opposite number Arsene Wenger suffered nothing but humiliation as his misfiring Gunners were well beaten.
