Tafon ‘The Cameroon Express’ Nchukwi (4-0) steams into the UFC after running over his first four opponents via knockout. Alex Meyers (Cage Fury Fighting Championships) and AT McCowin (Shogun Fights) were his first two victims before finishing William Knight (CFFC) who looked great on his UFC debut. That win earnt him a spot on the Contender Series with Al Matavao who he sent him flying with a head kick.

Jamie ‘Nightwolf’ Pickett (11-4) also makes his UFC debut off the back of a knockout on the Contender Series. It was third time lucky for Pickett who got submitted by Charles Byrd on the Series in 2018 and lost a decision to Punahele Soriano last year. However, he responded to those losses with good wins and met Jhonoven Pati back in August knocking him out in the second round to finally get his shot on the big stage.

Both men are physical specimens with 12 knockouts from their 15 wins. They will hunt the knockout again and it is unlikely to go past two rounds. Pickett has a clear advantage when it comes to experience and will also have a height and reach advantage but ‘The Cameroon Express’ only needs to find the chin once to end the fight. A knockout is likely eighter way, but we expect Nchukwi to get his hand raised.

Prediction: Nchukwi via KO/TKO
