Colin Tizzard has produced the winner of this race in two of its last three runnings but he will be hard-pushed to improve on that record with just one runner time around. Striking A Pose will be his only chance and despite winning two of his last three races, the five-year-old was disappointingly pulled up last month when struggling in-running in a Grade 3 affair at Sandown with this step up in class likely to be too much to deal with.
My Drogo and Ballyadam lead the way in the market and those two could be difficult to get in front of. Rachael Blackmore and Henry de Bromhead will team up on the latter as they look to go one better than the second place they managed in the Sky Bet Supreme at Cheltenham Festival last month but the pair of Harry and Dan Skelton will believe they having completed a hat-trick of wins last time out at Kelso.
My Drogo has won two Grade 2 affairs in his last two races and he can handle this step up in class to secure a fourth consecutive win. He has never finished out of the frame in his four races to date and while Ballyadam poses an obvious threat having claimed a Grade 1 success back in November, Harry Skelton can get the job done to seal a four-time on My Drogo.
Tip: My Drogo @ 2/1
