THE PREDICTION

Man City face a daunting task to turn this quarter-final tie around against Barcelona, after falling to a 3-0 defeat in the first leg last Wednesday. The WSL side have no choice but to sacrifice defensive stability in a bid to pull off a memorable comeback, however when taking into account Barcelona’s incisive possession-based playstyle, this could see them picked off by the Spanish giants as the hosts grow ever more desperate. Despite that threat, City will still be forced to gamble offensively and with 19 goals scored in their last seven games in all competitions, they are more than capable of at least finding the net here. Therefore, both teams to score looks the shrewd play here regardless of the outcome in this second leg.
