BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS SEVILLA PREDICTION

Borussia Dortmund surprised many in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash with Sevilla, beating the Spaniards 2-3 away from home. Scoring three away goals vs a defence that had conceded just four goals in six group stage matches was no mean feat for Edin Terzek’s side and was largely down to the brilliance of 20-year-old striker Erling Haaland, who recorded two goals and an assist to cap off an outstanding individual performance from the Norwegian superstar. With Sevilla having conceded three away goals and a one goal deficit, they have no choice but to take risks offensively and commit bodies forward in an attempt to turn this tie around in the second leg. Whilst the Sevilla attack should find success against a Dortmund defence that has kept just three clean sheets in their last 13 games in all competitions, the pace and quality of Haaland on the counter attack will prove very difficult for the visitors to stop and another thrilling encounter between these two sides is expected. Therefore, consider both teams to score over the course of 90 minutes in this one.
