THE TEAM NEWS

BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA

  • Bosnia-Herzegovina are guaranteed a play-off place and still have a remote chance of direct qualification if they pull off an upset against Italy and Finland fail to win their match.
  • All the players who started against Greece last month have been selected again, while captain Edin Dzeko returns from injury and should spearhead the attack in place of Armin Hodzic.
  • Elvis Saric is again expected to be preferred to Muhamed Besic and Rade Krunic, who have barely featured for their respective clubs this season.

Predicted line-up (4-3-3): Sehic; Kvrzic, Kovacevic, Bicakcic, Kolasinac; Cimirot, Pjanic, Saric; Hajrovic, Dzeko, Gojak

Unavailable: Sunjic (Injured)

ITALY

  • Italy are already confirmed as group winners having won all eight matches and are one of just two teams with a 100 per cent record in EURO 2020 qualifying.
  • Manager Roberto Mancini has therefore named an experimental squad for their final two games, with uncapped trio Riccardo Orsolini, Gaetano Castrovilli and Andrea Cistana called up for the first time.
  • Leonardo Spinazzola, Marco Verratti and Domenico Berardi have withdrawn due to injury so Sandro Tonali has been promoted from the Under-21s, taking the total in the squad to 27.

Predicted line-up (4-3-3): Sirigu; Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Biraghi; Jorginho, Zaniolo, Verratti; Bernardeschi, Immobile, El Shaarawy

THE PREDICTION

Bosnia-Herzegovina gave Italy one of their tougher matches in this campaign back in June, even scoring first. They are also unbeaten in six games on home soil and have more to play for here but the Azzurri have been excellent in this campaign and will not want their run to end.
