THE PREDICTION

Ukraine were on the end of a heavy loss to Spain in their second UEFA Nations League contest and they were unable to put that behind them as they shipped seven against France in their friendly during the week. Those two performances will set off alarm bells ahead of this clash with Germany who will go in search of their first win of the competition having played out 1-1 draws with Spain and Switzerland. They were also held by Turkey in their midweek friendly but they fielded an experimental side in that game and will be much stronger here. With Ukraine’s defence struggling, the Germans should be able to take advantage by claiming the win in a game that should produce over 2.5 goals too.
