THE PREDICTION
A fantastic 3-1 win for Reading over Bristol City at the weekend saw them snap a five-game winless streak in which the Royals had lost four of those. With key players having recovered from injuries and confidence restored, Veljko Paunovic’s side will be looking to kick on from here. Although this may prove a tricky ask away to Sheffield Wednesday, who have drawn their last two matches under new boss Tony Pulis. With such a quick fixture turnaround, this could prove a turgid encounter as the hosts look to soak up pressure and bombard Reading with the sort of aerial threat that you would expect from a side managed by Pulis. With Michael Morrison and Liam Moore both capable of dealing with such threats in the Reading backline, the two sides could end up cancelling each other out and be forced to settle for a point apiece in this one.
