THE PREDICTION

Huddersfield could not back up their excellent 4-1 victory last weekend over Swansea in midweek, as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Derby. Injuries continue to take a huge toll on the Terriers and things don’t look like getting much better before their trip to Preston on Saturday. The Lilywhites are struggling badly on the pitch, having failed to pick up a win in their last seven Championship fixtures with just two points accrued over the course of those games. Alex Neil’s side haven’t scored in their most recent three league matches and a drab affair looks on the cards between two teams devoid of quality at present, although Huddersfield’s injury list allows for mitigating circumstances on their park. Nevertheless, goalmouth action is expected to be in short supply once again at Deepdale this weekend, so consider under 2.5 goals scored here.
