Sao Paulo surrendered top spot in Serie A after they were hammered by Internacional earlier in the week as they suffered their second consecutive home defeat in the league. Having avoided defeat in their previous 15 home games in Serie A, it will have come as a shock to the system for Sao Paulo, especially in the way they crumbled in the 1-5 loss. They are now without a win in their last five in all competitions and with Coritiba avoiding defeat in their last three, they could come unstuck once again.
