THE PREDICTION
Palmeiras were given a huge scare in their Copa Libertadores semi-final with River Plate but they did just enough to hold on as advanced to the final. Their four-match winning run in all competitions came to an end in that second leg loss but they have won their last five matches on home soil in Serie A, all without conceding. They face a tough test against a Gremio side that have proven extremely difficult to beat for a long period having avoided tasting defeat in any of their last 14 games in the league and while this will be a tricky trip for them, they should be able to extend their unbeaten run.
