Shandong Taishan were extremely impressive in last season’s Chinese Super League and clinched the title while backing that up with success in the FA Cup. It is three months since their last game but they come into this with a 20-game unbeaten run to their name and that spells trouble for Daegu. The Korean outfit have struggled so far this season and have failed to win any of their last four league games, three of which ended in defeat. That run will be difficult to overcome here and Shandong have to be favoured to claim the victory.
