We focus on two flying full-backs from either side of Merseyside in this head-to-head. Whilst both Andy Robertson (£7.1m) and Lucas Digne (£6.1m) made very little impact in Gameweek 8, picking up just three FPL points between them, both provide a substantial attacking threat to match their defensive capabilities which will naturally attract FPL managers towards the pair going forwards.
Gameweek 9 sees Liverpool and Robertson face Leicester at Anfield, whilst Everton and Digne travel to struggling Fulham. Digne already has two assists away from home in the Premier League this season, but Robertson has both a goal and an assist to his name at Anfield. Both have potential to net a significant FPL haul in Gameweek 9. However, when taking into account the difficulty of the opposition along with Digne's £1.0m cheaper price, the Frenchman appears to represent the better value and as such, the Everton defender gets the nod for us.
Verdict: Lucas Digne
