West Ham's Pablo Fornals (£6.4m) put in a masterful performance with a goal and assist as the Hammers defeated Leicester 0-3 in a surprise result at the King Power Stadium. Ross Barkley (£5.9m) also shone in his first start for Aston Villa, grabbing a goal in an incredible 7-2 win against reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.

Gameweek 5 sees the turn of Aston Villa to visit Leicester, whilst West Ham make the short journey to Spurs in a London derby. Both will prove difficult fixtures, but with Aston Villa in a rich vein of goalscoring form, Barkley gets the nod for us here, with his price £0.5m cheaper than Fornals.
