FPL Gameweek 5 – head-to-head comparisons: Daniel James vs Youri Tielemans
Man Utd’s Daniel James (£6.1m) has taken his rich vein of scoring form into the international break. After netting his third goal of the season for the Red Devils away at Southampton in Gameweek 4, James scored the only goal for Wales in their 1-0 win over Belarus. After a slow start to the season playing in a deep-lying midfield role, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers reverted Youri Tielemans (£6.4m) back to the more attacking role the Belgian played last campaign. The results were instantaneous, with a goal and assist for Tielemans winning him 12 FPL points in Gameweek 4. These two midfielders face off at Old Trafford in Gameweek 5 and having been more productive so far this season along with his cheaper price tag, James has to be favoured here.
Verdict: Daniel James
