FPL Gameweek 5 – head-to-head comparisons: Christian Eriksen vs Heung-Min Son
It has been a relatively underwhelming start to the season for Spurs and their FPL assets but now the uncertainty around some of their key men who have contracts expiring has come to an end with the European transfer window closing, and their fixture list easing up, they may be worth considering for upcoming gameweeks.
Neither Christian Eriksen (£8.8m) nor Heung-Min Son (£9.5m) have featured much so far due to Eriksen being out of favour and Son being suspended. However, Tottenham’s slow start can be overestimated as they have had tough fixtures against Man City and Arsenal but they now have a run of favourable matches coming up. Eriksen and Son are in that similar mid-range price brackets for midfielders, but Son gets the nod for his greater attacking returns despite costing £0.7m more.
Verdict: Heung-Min Son
