FPL Gameweek 30 – head-to-head comparisons: Sergio Aguero vs Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Both these premium assets suffered goal-scoring misery in Gameweek 29, with Sergio Aguero (£11.9m) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.1m) failing to find the net for Man City and Arsenal respectively. With both players highly owned due to their double gameweeks, which was subsequently postponed, this was a real blow for many FPL managers.
Gameweek 30 sees Aguero's Man City host Burnley and Aubameyang's Arsenal travel to Brighton. Aguero did not feature against the Clarets earlier in the season, whilst Aubameyang boasts a strong record against Brighton, having scored three goals in his last four appearances against the Seagulls. At £0.8m cheaper than Aguero, Aubameyang represents the better value in the head-to-head.
Verdict: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
