FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Kasper Schmeichel vs Rui Patricio
Both these goalkeepers enjoyed success in Gameweek 27. Kasper Schmeichel (£5.3m) saved a penalty, albeit in a losing effort for his Leicester side as they were narrowly beaten 0-1 by Man City. His penalty save was enough to earn him 12 FPL points with bonus points added on. Rui Patricio (£5.1m), meanwhile, kept his third successive Premier League clean sheet against Norwich in a 3-0 win for Wolves. Patricio has now gained 25 FPL points from his last three fixtures.
Both keepers are on the road in Gameweek 28, as Leicester travel to Norwich and Wolves are away to Spurs. Both fixtures appeal to a prospective FPL owner, with Norwich having not scored in their last three league games, whilst Spurs have looked light going forward without Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son through injury. Due to his cheaper price-tag, we'd just edge toward Patricio here.
Verdict: Rui Patricio
