FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Sergio Aguero vs Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Despite scoring five goals in his previous two matches, Sergio Aguero (£12.0m) found himself on the bench in Gameweek 24 but he still managed to rescue his FPL owners with a goal. He did not feature in the FA Cup clash with Fulham on Sunday with the Argentine an unused substitute but he did then play near-enough the whole match against Man Utd in the League Cup on Wednesday. With a potentially difficult clash to Spurs on the cards in Gameweek 25 as Jose Mourinho is likely to stifle any space at the back, this could be a very rare occasion to overlook the striker.
The return of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.7m) is huge for Arsenal with the skipper’s presence in this side imperative to any success they may have this season. He will come back into the fold following a three-match ban he picked up from his Gameweek 22 red card against Crystal Palace. Arsenal’s involvement in the FA Cup has seen him only miss two Premier League games but he will still want to come back with a bang and he can add to his tally of 14 goals this season by notching against Burnley and that sees him narrowly edge this selection.
Verdict: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
