FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Mohamed Salah vs Raheem Sterling

Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) left his FPL owners sweating after failing to produce in the first of Liverpool’s two matches in Gameweek 24 but the Egyptian came to the fore with a 14-point haul against West Ham. He stepped up in Sadio Mane’s absence which will have been much to the dismay of those who had captained (or triple captained!) his stricken teammate. Salah now has three goals and two assists in his last five Premier League appearances and could improve on that output with Mane almost certainly out of the side in Gameweek 25.

Raheem Sterling (£11.7m) is struggling for form and has not scored a Premier League goal since notching twice away at Wolves in Gameweek 19. He has also spent some time on the bench in the league recently with his performances not making him an automatic selection at present. His side face a tough trip to Spurs this week and with Salah’s productivity currently a lot higher than Sterling’s, it is the Liverpool man that should be in your team this week.
