FPL Gameweek 24 – head-to-head comparisons – Roberto Firmino vs Tammy Abraham
Many of the good chances in Liverpool’s game with Man Utd fell the way of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane with Roberto Firmino (£9.4m) not having as big an impact in the final third as usual for the Reds. He will hope for more success as his side head to Wolves but with just one goal from just last four Premier League appearances, Firmino has produced three two-point returns in those four games and it is five in seven if going back further.
Tammy Abraham (£7.9m) came in for some criticism for failing to find the back of the net in Chelsea’s trip to Newcastle. The frontman got into several superb positions to score but lacked the composure in front of goal and it ultimately cost his side as they fell to a late defeat. This is not a new thing for Abraham but if he continues to get into goalscoring positions then goals will flow, even if he fails to convert as frequently as he would like.
However, with Liverpool playing twice in Gameweek 24, the nod has to go to the Brazilian.
Verdict: Roberto Firmino
