Gameweek 23 saw both Mo Salah (£12.4m) and Sadio Mane (£12.4m) spurn numerous guilt-edged opportunities throughout their match against Man Utd, but when it was looking like neither would get on the scoresheet, Salah burst through on goal to slot the ball past De Gea with the final act of the match. The goal saw him end the match with 7 FPL points following a yellow card received after taking his shirt off during his celebration. Mane was subbed off with 3 FPL points to his name.
Gameweek 24 sees both players enter a double gameweek, with trips to Wolves and West Ham on the menu for Liverpool. Choosing between the two midfielders is similar to that of a coin toss, so we can only go on historical records that the players have vs the two clubs. Salah scored in his last league match at Molineux, whilst Mane has three goals in his last two appearances vs Wolves and also scored the only goal in Liverpool's 1-1 draw away at West Ham last season. Based on that and his higher consistency over the season, we'd give the edge to Mane.
Verdict: Sadio Mane
