FPL Gameweek 12 – head-to-head comparisons: Heung-Min Son vs Dele Alli

The horror injury suffered by Everton's Andre Gomes in Gameweek 11 saw Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) dismissed but that decision has now been overturned so the South Korean is available for the Gameweek 12 clash with Sheffield Utd. Whether or not events at Goodison Park will effect Son remains to be seen, but he has long been an FPL-favourite.

A former FPL favourite is Son's teammate Dele Alli (£8.4m), who has been showing glimpses lately of the form which once made him so popular. The Englishman has received his fair share of criticism by pundits this season but he's scored twice in the last three gameweeks. FPL managers have been reluctant to take the plunge so far but he offers intriguing differential given that he features in just 0.7% of teams. However, with his more advanced position and greater explosiveness, the edge still goes to Son.
