Both Southampton's Danny Ings (£8.5m) and Raul Jimenez (£8.5m) of Wolves both enjoyed incredible successful Premier League seasons in 2019/20. Ings netted 22 goals for the Saints, leading to him finishing joint second in the race for the prestigious golden boot award. Jimenez not only bagged 17 goals for Wolves, but also secured seven assists, ending with an overall FPL points score of 194 compared to Ings' 198.
Southampton face a trip to Crystal Palace in Gameweek One, who ended the 2019/20 season losing seven of their last eight matches. Wolves meanwhile, are away at Sheffield Utd, who were victorious in last season's match at Bramall Lane, winning 1-0. With the Blades a proven force at the back having kept 13 Premier League clean sheets last season, Ings looks a tastier prospect than Jimenez here.
Verdict: Danny Ings
