The steal of the 2018-19 FPL season, Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) has seen his price rise by £2.0m for the start of 2019-20. This value still seems woefully low for the third highest point scoring forward from last year but is a reflection that the Mexican has only performed at this level for a single season. With 18 goals, Jamie Vardy (£9.0m) outscored Jimenez by five goals but that is only half the story. The Englishman scored ten goals in the final 11 gameweeks of the season after Rodgers was hired as Leicester manager.
