FPL Gameweek 10 – head-to-head comparisons: Sadio Mane vs Raheem Sterling
Sadio Mane (£12.1m) has been quietly going about is business this season with four goals and three assists and could prove to be quite the differential for brave FPL fans as he is, at the time of writing, owned by just over 10% of FPL players and the sixth-highest scoring Midfielder. He drew a blank for the fourth time this season in a strong performance by Liverpool against Leicester but is never far from a goal and faces a weakened Brighton & Hove Albion side with their star wing-back Tariq Lamptey (£4.8m) suspended.
However, Raheem Sterling (£11.5m) scored two goals and an assist against Burnley in their most recent meeting in the EFL Cup and will be part of a Man City side who have an excellent record against Burnley. In recent matches between Liverpool and Brighton it has been Mohamed Salah’s (£12.2m) day over Mane and while both players have opportunities here it is Sterling who gets our nod.
