PROSPECTS
Ross Smith is the favourite with the bookies to progress from what looks to be a tough group to predict. It is very hard to know what to expect in this format and a very tricky opening fixture against Lisa Ashton awaits him.

PROSPECTS
Mickey Mansell has been playing on the PDC circuit for a number of years and is the only player in this group who has claimed a PDC ranking title on the main tour having triumphed at a Players Championship tournament in 2018.

PROSPECTS
Dutch youngster Geert Nentjes has the potential to be in contention for top spot in the group. He notably recorded three nine-darters in competitive darts in 2019 and claimed a couple of titles on the Development Tour last season also.

LISA ASHTON

PROSPECTS
Lisa Ashton won her PDC Tour Card on merit back in January when she became the first woman to successfully qualify at Q School. She might be the outsider to win the group with the bookies, but I wouldn’t rule out top spot for Ashton.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Over 7.5 legs – Ross Smith vs Lisa Ashton

The opening fixture of the night is an intriguing match and I think Smith and Ashton can serve up a competitive game that looks capable of going over 7.5 legs.

Geert Nentjes to win 5-4 vs Mickey Mansell

This is another match in which I think the outcome will be very tight and I’m predicting the Dutchman to just have the edge.

Lisa Ashton to top the group

In a group where there is no standout favourite, I think it’s worth having a look at Lisa Ashton in the outright market as she has a genuine chance in my opinion.
