THE PREDICTION
Bihar come into this match looking for a third successive Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy victory as they face Meghalaya in Chennai. Meghalaya have proven wildly inconsistent so far this campaign, following up a six-wicket defeat to Manipur which saw them skittled out for an embarrassing 62, with a 130-run battering of Mizoram, after racking up 230/6 with a brilliant 146 not out from captain Punit Bisht the highlight. If Bisht can carry his form into this match and find support from his Meghalaya teammates, then this will prove a very intriguing encounter. However, it is unlikely that lightning will strike twice and if Bihar can bowl as miserly as they have so far in this competition, then it should set the foundation for a third straight win.
