THE PREDICTION
Auckland Aces have lost all five of their matches so far in this edition of the Super Smash and their upcoming matches are all simply must-win games now. They will be boosted for this clash with the Northern Knights by the return of star Blackcap Kyle Jamieson and the fast bowler will relish his first Super Smash of the year. Unfortunately for the Aces, the Knights also recoup two international pace men as Tim Southee and Trent Boult are both in the Knights’ squad and with Seifert, Santner and Kuggeleijn, their squad now has a formidable look about it. The Knights only have one win themselves in six games and they too simply have to win this game. While their batting has not been the best, their bowling attack here is top class and it could tip this crunch game in their favour.
