PAARL ROCKS

JOZI STARS
- Jozi Stars have had almost one week since their last game which was their fourth consecutive loss to start their MSL 2019 campaign and it was arguably their worst performance so far as they were bowled out for just 108 by Nelson Mandela Bay Giants and lost by nine wickets.
- The team have brought former South African batsmen and batting coach Neil McKenzie onto the coaching staff as a mentor and consultant for the remainder of the tournament in the hope that they Gauteng legend can help boost the struggling Stars’ players.
- The Stars are desperate for Chris Gayle to find some form as the big West Indian has struggled in the four matches so far and with just two matches remaining before he is replaced by Shoaib Malik, he will be keen to get a big score and spark some life into this struggling team.

Jozi Stars are running the risk of dropping out of contention for defending their crown after having lost their opening four games. They desperately need a victory to turn it around but despite possessing plenty of star power, they nowhere near enough of their players are in any kind of form. Paarl Rocks have had an inconsistent start themselves, but there has been plenty of positives in their performances so far.
