THE PREDICTION

This is a complete mismatch on paper with the ladder-leading Penrith Panthers strongly favoured to beat the struggling North Queensland Cowboys. Apisai Koroisau, James Tamou and Zane Tetevano are all being rested by the Panthers for this game but they still have plenty of quality in their ranks to overcome those absentees. The Cowboys have absentees themselves as both Josh McGuire and John Asiata are banned so they have some issues too. They have been involved in a couple of close encounters of late but have largely been outclassed by the quality teams in the NRL and the likelihood is that the same will happen here with the Panthers expected to win with a double-digit margin of victory.
