All the momentum is with Sunrisers Hyderabad coming into this game as they have won their last four matches all against quality opposition and confidence is flying despite some injuries in the camp. They seem unlikely to be able to count on Vijay Shankar or Wriddhiman Saha who are both struggling with injury still but they are still managing to produce strong performances thanks to their overseas stars who are in sensational form. Warner, Williamson, Holder and Rashid Khan are in top form right now and with that quartet leading the way, it is hard to oppose them right now. They face the Delhi Capitals who are in the exact opposite situation right now and are struggling badly. They managed to beat RCB in their final group stage match but have otherwise lost five of their last six matches including the first qualifier against Mumbai Indians where they were thoroughly outplayed. They were also heavily beaten by the Sunrisers who beat them by 88 runs last week and that is on top of the previous defeat earlier in the tournament at the hands of their opponents here. In both matches, Rashid Khan has tormented the Delhi batsmen taking 3/14 and 3/7 and he could well be the key man here yet again. Delhi were arguably the best team in the tournament in the first seven or eight rounds of matches but there is little confidence in them now. Sunrisers have form and momentum on their side and are the team favoured to progress to the final here.
