THE PREDICTION

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are already looking resigned to another miserable CPL campaign as they have lost their opening three matches and simply lack the quality in their ranks. They have already lost once to Barbados Tridents in this edition and they are going to have to reverse this miserable form and produce a much-improved display to beat the defending champions here. The Tridents themselves are coming consecutive defeats as after beating the Patriots, they have lost to the St Lucia Zouks and Trinbago Knight Riders. Neither performance was particularly good as they fell short with bat and ball in both games but they will not be disheartened by those defeats. They will need some of their overseas stars to find some form with Corey Anderson yet to click into gear while spin duo Santner and Rashid Khan will look to strangle the Patriots as they did in their previous meeting. Expect the Tridents to get back on track here and inflict a fourth consecutive loss for the Patriots.
