We have put together a list of all the travel distances for the top seven tiers of English football.
This article focuses on the 2018-19 League One season:
Plymouth are far and away the most isolated team in League One, with their total travel distance over the 2018-19 league season surpassing the 6000 mile mark. Their closest competitors will be Bristol Rovers, although that is still a 124-mile trip.
Plymouth and Sunderland are the only teams to feature as the longest single trip for all teams in the division, and the 406 miles that separate the two is the largest distance in the whole football league by some distance.
The shortest journey in the division is that of Fleetwood and Blackpool, who are separated by just eight miles.
Distances are Google Maps calculations (stadium-to-stadium).
