We have put together a list of all the travel distances for the top seven tiers of English football.
This article focuses on the 2018-19 Championship season:
The Championship is geographically very close in the 2018-19 season, with a host of local derbies to look forward to. Four teams - Aston Villa, Birmingham, Derby County and Nottingham Forest - have an average travel distance of less than 100 miles, with Forest boasting the shortest average travel distance in the football league.
The 314-mile trip between Bristol City and Norwich will be the longest single journey in the Championship.
In total, Swansea's travel distance is 893 miles more than what they covered in the Premier League last season.
Distances are Google Maps calculations (stadium-to-stadium).
