Rangers have not beaten Celtic since March 2012 – a run encapsulating 14 games – but the Gers' recent revival should see a more even contest in this meeting of ex-Liverpool stablemates in the dugouts. A repeat of last season’s lopsided 5-0 and 4-0 scorelines seems unlikely. That said, the quality levels are not quite there and a trip to Russia, along with having to play spells of that match with just nine men, will make it difficult for them in this one.
