Four points from the last six on offer have eased West Ham’s fears of relegation and they could take a huge step to confirming their top-flight status when Stoke visit the London Stadium on Monday night. David Moyes’ men have answered their critics in the best possible way with a win over Southampton that was then followed by an impressive draw against Chelsea last Sunday.

Their opponents Stoke start the weekend four points from safety, a figure that could be higher by the time kick-off comes around. Paul Lambert knows that his team need to find victories from somewhere, something that has eluded them in their last nine league matches.

The London Stadium has arguably been more difficult for the home side to play at this season, but it looks like everyone connected with the club is on the same page for now and a win for the hosts would go a long way to further easing tensions in East London.
