Javi Gracia’s first game in charge as Watford manager saw him earn a point away at Stoke and now the Spaniard will be looking to earn his first win while in charge of the Hornets. He has been tasked with halting the slide that the club are currently in and next up they face a Chelsea side who were embarrassed by Bournemouth in their last outing. If the soon to be outgoing Premier League champions don’t bounce back from that result quickly then there top four hopes could be placed in serious jeopardy. The Stamford Bridge defeat of a few days ago should be a blip though as Gracia’s first Watford win will have to wait at least another week.

Watford’s first ever win over Chelsea in the Premier League was also the first meeting between these two sides at this level. In what was something of an upset victory, Allan Smart’s strike was the solitary goal of the game and one that gave the Hornets a memorable three points.
