Both Watford and Bournemouth are all but secure in their bid to stave off relegation this season, and it looks as if one more win for either club will be enough to confirm their top-flight status for a fourth successive season.
The Hornets' season has been saved by current manager Javi Gracia who has come in and arrested the slide that the club were in under former boss Marco Silva. For the Cherries, it has been a much improved second half of the campaign which has seen them shoot up the table.
It may well be just one more win that gets the job done but this fixture is steeped in stalemates at this level and both managers will have to postpone any survival celebrations for at least another week as this one ends in another draw.
In the five previous Premier League meetings between the two clubs, only once has one of the outfits come out on top. This occurred back in August 2017 and it was the visiting Watford side who earned maximum points at the Vitality Stadium thanks to goals from Richarlison and Etienne Capoue.
